Crucial political issues

Politics in the country have made enormous strides in recent years, entirely altering the political, economic, and other fields.

Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, lost his position as prime minister as a consequence of a no-confidence motion against the PTI government in April 2022.

Soon after Shahbaz Sharif’s government took office, a crackdown against Tehreek-e-Insaf was initiated. PTI leaders are unable to relax since the government arrests them as soon as the courts grant them release.

Political unrest has made Pakistan’s problems worse. On the one hand, there are violent protests taking place while the army is being deployed, but on the other, the precarious security situation and the rising terrorism have grown to the point that they require immediate attention.

Buildings like as Jinnah House, Army Headquarters, and Radio Pakistan were under attack during this time. As much as one condemns these reprehensible actions, it’s not enough.

Pakistan’s economy is on the brink of collapse. Khawaja Asif, the defence minister, has recently highlighted the seriousness of the economic situation. Moreover, the political climate is directly impacted by the economy.

The government must concentrate on addressing economic issues while bringing down the political temperature. The social harmony and stability of Pakistan have also been impacted by the country’s internal and external conflicts, as well as by extremism.

The country has also experienced significant divisiveness as a result of the ethnic recognition associated with some restrictive theories. Diversity, difference of opinion, and the spread of such ideas can all aid in maintaining social order.

It is essential that the current administration focus on political matters, lessen tensions and disputes between the ruling party and the opposition, and address the people’s economic problems.

It is crucial to develop a workable plan and then put it into action for the current administration in order to address the issues. However, I can see that the majority of political parties and public organisations waste time in speeches and debates rather than focusing on the issues.

Inflation, unemployment, and economic suffering are at the top of the list of issues that need to be addressed urgently for the good of the masses.
