ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the nation’s martyrs in their respective messages on the occasion of Pakistan Martyrs Day.
According to the details, PM Shehbaz Sharif in his Twitter message on the occasion of Pakistan Martyrs’ Day said that the nation will pay tribute to its heroes and martyrs today in magnificent words.”We will express our solidarity with the families of the martyrs,” he said.
In a tweet, PM Shehbaz Sharif said, “I think the May 9 protest violence turned into incidents, it was planned. Those who design it are dangerous, shameful events are regularly created. The nation is shocked and saddened.”
The prime minister said that some people in their lust for power have done things that have never been done before. “Martyrs’ memorials were desecrated. The miscreants attacked the symbols, ideology, and identity of the state. The enemies of the country were given reasons to celebrate,” he added.
The Prime Minister said that today the nation will repeat the pledge to honor the martyrs. President Dr. Arif Alvi said that the nation pays homage to the unparalleled courage and sacrifices of the security forces.

“The soldiers and officers of Pakistan Army, Police and other law enforcement agencies have made the country’s defense impregnable,” he asserted.
Alvi said that the nation of Pakistan is indebted to its martyrs. National integrity was impossible without the valuable services of our martyrs. The nation is proud of its brave men. Forces defending the borders, also defeated the scourge of terrorism.
