ISLAMABAD: The local court of Islamabad has discharged former human rights minister Shireen Mazari and Senator Falak Naz from the case.
Judicial Magistrate Shabir Bhatti issued a written decision. The political arena experienced a tumultuous series of events as influential PTI figures such as Shireen Mazari and Falak Naz were promptly re-arrested immediately after their court-ordered release from Adiala jail.
Shireen Mazari and Falak Naz were produced in the court of the Judicial Magistrate of the District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad.
The police requested PTI leaders to be physically remanded for three days, but the judicial magistrate rejected the request of the police.
Judicial Magistrate Shabbir Bhatti discharged the two leaders from the case. The court has also ordered to present the details of the cases filed against Shireen Mazari and Senator Falk Naz.
The court said that there is no need for further investigation of Falak Naz and Shireen Mazari. The women leaders of PTI were produced in the case registered under the provisions of murder and brandishing weapons in the Tarnol police station.
On this occasion, Shireen Mazari said that after his release, he was arrested again from the second gate of Adiala jail, and kept in the diplomatic enclave and police station secretariat.
