KARACHI: The cops of the Civil Lines Police Station of the Sindh capital arrested two suspects involved in the robbery of 70 lakhs during an operation.
Civil Line Investigation Police arrested two suspects involved in the robbery of 70 lakh rupees during the operation near Ocean Chowk on CCTV footage and technical grounds.
According to the police, the accused named Bilal was arrested from Karachi while the other accused Asif was arrested from Swat, after obtaining the CCTV footage of the incident from the said location.

The police said that the arrested suspects took money from a citizen at Civil Lines Police Station last week. The victim, Zohaib, was going to give the money to his business partner Fazal. The accused was informed by the victim’s partner, Fazal. The weapon used in the incident (a nine mm pistol) has been recovered from his possession.
Earlier in February 2023, the arrested accused had escaped from the limits of the civil line police station by snatching a gold bracelet from a passer-by at gunpoint. More criminal records of the accused are also being checked, and more revelations are expected in this regard.
