ISLAMABAD: Senate has approved the bill for revision of Supreme Court decisions and orders.
The Senate meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, Senator Irfan Siddiqui presented the said bill in the House through the supplementary agenda, which was strongly protested by the opposition.
The opposition members tore copies of the bill, protested fiercely in the House, and raised slogans in front of Chairman Dice, the security cordoned off between the government and opposition benches, and the opposition members raised slogans of contempt of court.

Amid protests by the opposition, the bill to review Supreme Court decisions and orders was passed in the Senate, with 32 votes in favor and 21 votes against the motion to present the bill.
