LAHORE: The Quaid of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is reported to have refused to come to Pakistan in near future.

The news about his refusal came to light after series of development including the one in Punjab where PTI-driven political forces had decided to dissolve provincial assembly as Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi successfully sought vote of confidence from 186 MPAs on Thursday.

Earlier, there were reports that Nawaz Sharif had sought his party’s recommendations regarding his and Maryam’s return to Pakistan when senior leadership conveyed their concerns over absence of senior leadership in Punjab amid dents after dents at the political front.
Reports from certain media groups who are believed to be aligned with the incumbent Shehbaz-led coalition government suggested that some senior party leaders regretted the decision to come to power after removing Imran Khan-led government in April last year.

These reports further suggested that since Shehbaz Sharif-led PDM government was also not performing on the issues like worsening economic conditions and price hike, such elements were further contributing to rising unpopularity of the party.
Media reports quoted political sources as saying that PML-N senior leadership met in London to elaborate on recommendations for the return of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. However, it has now come to known that Nawaz Sharif has outrightly rejected the idea of his immediate return to Pakistan. He, however, has hinted that his daughter Maryam Nawaz might return to Pakistan this month.
Nawaz Sharif has reportedly told the senior party leadership that he would think about his return to Pakistan after observing situation post Maryam’s return to Pakistan.
