QUETTA: Kuchlak Magistrate has admitted for hearing the bail application of PTI Senator Azam Swati who was shifted here from Islamabad’s PIMS hospital under mysterious circumstances.

The custody of PTI Senator Azam Swati was transferred to Balochistan, just a day after FIA apprised Islamabad court that it had completed its investigations, adding that there was no need for further investigation. Swati was arrested on Sunday for the second time in less than two months over controversial tweets and speeches.

Advocate Iqbal Shah representing the PTI Senator told media that the Kuchlak Magistrate has admitted their bail plea for hearing and issued notices to the respondents for Monday.

He further said that the case registered against Azam Swati in Kuchlak on the complaint of a local resident had no legal value, and that he hoped to get justice from the court of the Magistrate.
