LAHORE: Pacer Aftab Ibrahim is set to replace Right-arm fast bowler Mohammad Nabeel who has been ruled out of the Pakistan U19 series against Bangladesh due to stress fracture in his back.
From November 4 to November 18, the Multan Cricket Stadium will host a four-day match, three 45-over-per-side games, and two T20 matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Nabeel from Northern, who was a member of the team for just one four-day game, will be replaced by right-arm fast bowler Aftab Ibrahim. Aftab had took 24 wickets from 10 games while playing for Sindh U19 Blues in national U19 championships (50-over and three-day). The 19-year-old also competed for Hyderabad Hunters in the recently finished Pakistan Junior League’s debut season.
Moreover, the PCB confirmed the appointments of the match officials for the six-match Pakistan-Bangladesh U19 series, which would include a four-day match, three 45-over matches, and two T20 matches.
Umpires Rashid Riaz, Shozab Raza and Waleed Yaqub will share the on-field and reserve umpire duties, while Prof Muhammad Javed Malik, who is a member of PCB Elite Panel of Match Referees and International Panel of ICC Match Referees, will perform the refereeing duties for all the six matches.
