Danish Taimoor starrer ‘Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi’ has been receiving backlash after its latest episode in which Shamsher forcefully marries Mahek.
Produced by IDream Entertainment Productions, the drama feature Dur-e-Fishan Saleem besides Taimoor in the leading role. Written by Radain Shah and directed by Ahmed Bhatti, the story of the drama revolves around a rich man Shamsher who falls in love with a middle-class girl.
In the latest episode, Shamsher forcefully married Mehak. Now viewers are not happy with the storyline and many of them are calling it toxic.

One Indian viewer said, “I thought Pakistani serials were good but promoting such harassment of women. Not a done deal. It is like women in 2022 do not have rights and choices. A humble request, please do not promote such toxic, selfish and disrespectful behavior of men and justify it as an extreme form of love. Films and series provide direction to society. Please use this medium judiciously”
