ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that inflation was due to PTI’s agreement with IMF while former Prime Minister Imran Khan did nothing for the development of the country.
According to details, while talking to the media during the press conference, the Interior Minister said that Imran Khan did nothing for the development of the country while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government did not want to increase the price of petrol.
During a press conference, the Home Minister said that the government had taken a difficult decision on inflation due to PTI’s agreement with the IMF. “Imran Khan in his time had focused all his attention on retaliation against the opposition,” he asserted.

Rana Sanaullah said that the government was trying to provide maximum relief to the people. Imran Khan’s rule lasted for three and a half years, but he did not take steps for the development of the country.Â
It may be recalled that the federal government, which had earlier accused the PTI of agreeing to an agreement with the IMF, has continued to increase the price of petrol in recognition of the IMF’s terms, making everything more expensive, including groceries.
