LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released a revised schedule for the Australian cricket team’s tour of Pakistan.
The visiting team will start its tour of Pakistan from March 4 to 8 by playing its first Test match in Rawalpindi. The series consisting of three Tests, three ODIs and one T20 International will start from Rawalpindi.
The second Test of the series will be played in Karachi from March 12 to 16 and the third Test will be played in Lahore from March 21 to 25.
The first match of the ODI series between the two teams will be played on March 29. All the three Test matches in the series are part of the ICC World Test Championship while all the ODI matches are part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
The two cricket boards have agreed that the guest side will reach Islamabad on a chartered flight on February 27 where they will be allowed to train at the Pindi Cricket Stadium after completing the isolation.
The players selected in the Australian squad for the series will arrive in Pakistan on March 24. All these players will be able to meet other members of the squad after completing their isolation.
