ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Khanzada Khan has resigned from the membership of the Senate.
After placing the resign on the table, Chairman Senate, Saadiq Sanjraani, accepted the resignation of Khanzada. Moreover, Senate Secretary sent a notification about the resignation.

Khanzada Khan became a senator in 2015 for 6 years, however, he resigned before completing its senator term. The reasons for resignation were told that there were differences between the party leadership and Khanzada.
The notification stated, “Consequently his seat has become vacant in terms of clause (1) of Article 64 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with effect from 30th October 201.”

The sources revealed that Khanzada was unhappy with the PPP leadership for suspecting him of foul play during the recent crucial vote on the no-confidence motion against the Senate chairman.
