ISLAMABAD: At least 277 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 14 more people have died due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,290,491 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,863 people lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 41,927 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 2,27,30,952. Across the country, the corona test result was 0.66 percent while the condition of 718 patients is critical.
During the last 24 hours, 243 people defeated coronavirus across the country, bringing the total number of healthy people to 1,252,157. Mortality remains at 2.2 percent.

The highest number of coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh while deaths were reported in Punjab. In Punjab, 444,074 people fell victim to the virus while 13,055 died. In Sindh, 478,717 cases and 7,648 deaths were reported from coronavirus.
In different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 180,887 people fell victim to coronavirus while 5,903 died. In Balochistan, 33,540 cases of the virus were reported and 363 people lost their lives.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,630 people were infected with coronavirus and 745 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,428 cases and 186 deaths were reported. In Islamabad, 18,215 people were infected with coronavirus and 963 died.
