Pakistan can defeat Australia with aggression: Wahab Riaz

SYDNEY: Fast-bowler Wahab Riaz said that Pakistan can defeat Australia by playing aggressive cricket in the upcoming series.

A video posted on Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) twitter account, quoted Wahab Riaz, “The T20I series between Pakistan and Australia will be tough and good” adding that, “A series victory will be a confidence booster for the team.”

He also added that the national team has experienced and energetic young fast-bowlers that can help Pakistan in winning the match series against Australia.

While praising the head coach, Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach, Waqar Younis, he said that the players will learn a lot from the experienced duo.

“They are always positive and on their toes”, added Wahab.

Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistan’s chief selector and head coach, Misbah ul Haq said that the unpredictability of Pakistan cricket team can give tough time to Australia.

Pakistan cricket team is currently in Australia. The team will play three T20Is and two Tests against Australia.
