The guests had lauded the SSU’s professionalism in maintaining administrative, security and counterterrorism functions. Later, the DIG Ahmed had presented honorary shields to the guests.
Meanwhile, last year the famous Turkish series ‘Ertugul’ had set records of viewership in Pakistan, after the country’s state-run channel had started airing it in the Urdu language on the demand of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Story of the series revolves around Islamic history and culture which is mostly neglected in the local content of Pakistani media. The series depicts the true phase of the Ottoman Empire, that how it survived in the ages back then and what hurdles it faced in the spread of Islam around the world.
