Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui, who recently made headlines for trying to touch the feet of Indian megastar Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has finally opened up about it by saying it was his candid moment.
Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui met Nawazuddin Siddiqui during the Filmfare International achievers awards held in Dubai. In the viral video, Munawar can be seen in awe after meeting his favourite Bollywood actor.

The actor, who is currently in Dubai for PISA awards, while talking about his viral video with Nawazudding said, “As an actor, you have to be on guard all the time which is so unfair, can’t I enjoy any of my moments within my private place.” Munawar further added that it was a normal chit-chat session where he was narrating dialogue from the movie ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’.
“Mahira urged to me to touch the feet of Guru Ji (Nawazuddin), and I said ‘why not?’, even Nawazudin Siddiqui stopped me,” said Munawar by adding that it was just a moment and they were having fun.
Moreover, Munawar said that as he is Sindhi, it is quite normal in his culture to touch feet to pay respect, “I am Sindhi and it is in our culture, I touch the feet of my father, my senior Asim Raza, I touch feet of Nigah Ji too.”
