KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi has placed advertisements in newspapers for the demolition of Nasla Tower in which expertise and cooperation have been sought from companies.
According to the sources, the city administration made a request to the companies specialized in demolition of the building in the advertisement regarding Nasla Tower to contact Commissioner Karachi. Officials said that Nasla Tower is to be demolished in 7 days.
Moreover, the Supreme Court Karachi registry ordered to demolish the Nasla Tower within a week and directed that the nearby construction should not be damaged due to the collapse of the building. The demolition of the residential building was ordered on the ground that it was illegal.
Adding to that, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed ordered, water and electricity connections to the building be disconnected by October 27.
