KARACHI: The last letter of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan written to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah came to light on Sunday after his demise early in the morning.
The late Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan wrote his last letter to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on October 4.
According to the text of the letter, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan thanked the Chief Minister for the flowers sent to him and said, “Alhamdulillah, I am fine now.”
In his letter, Dr. Abdul Qadir said, “I am happy that the Chief Minister of my province remembered me.”
He said that it seems that the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab are waiting
to hear the good news of my death.
In the letter, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan said that in this difficult time, the Chief Minister of Sindh remembered that he was grateful.
It may be recalled that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was the only the government personality who attended the funeral prayers of Pakistani nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.
Sadly, Prime Minister Imran Khan, President Arif Alvi who were residing near Faysal Mosque Islamabad did not bother to attend the last recites of the Pakistani nuclear scientist.
This is not all, Chief Ministers of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan were also missing. CM Sindh was the only chief minister who travelled to Islamabad despite bad weather and attended the funeral prayers of Abdul Qadeer Khan.
