7 Foods That Naturally Cleanse Liver

KARACHI: The liver is the organ that filters, processes, and breaks down what passes through your body.
The liver plays an important role in the body. While it largely takes care of itself, a person can help maintain liver health by consuming certain foods and drinks.
You can naturally cleanse and protect liver by consuming six important foods.
1.  Garlic:

It helps to detoxify the liver. It also has the ability to activate liver enzymes that can help your body naturally flush out toxins.
2.  Turmeric:

This herb works wonders for the liver. It also assists the liver in detoxing metals, while boosting bile production.
3.  Walnuts:

They are high in glutathione and omega-3 fatty acids, which all provide support to natural liver cleansing.
4.  Carrots:

Carrots are very high in plant-flavonoids which stimulates and supports liver function overall. They also contain Vitamin A, which prevents liver disease.
