Ruthless politics and Afghan future

Riyatullah Farooqui by Riyatullah Farooqui
September 6, 2021

Politics is a ruthless and complex world. Several parties in this modern world work for their own agenda and when they come into power they start following the preferences of their choice. Of course, such countries exist, which are focused on their own internal affairs without falling into the trap of the rest of the world. But such countries are few in numbers, and it is their location that keeps them safe from all evil.

This is not the case in the rest of the majority countries. The problem with the rest of the world is that their international political position is not subject to domestic politics. Rather, their national politics is subject to their position in international politics. As a result, their domestic policies change according to their external policies.

It is believed that it is the Foreign Ministry that decides what will be the nature of our relations with other countries? And it is also understood that the foreign ministry officials of the two countries sit at a table and work out the lines of their friendly affairs by mutual consent.

No matter how attractive this idea may seem, in reality it is no more than a deception based on understanding. In fact, this world is running on one law: Might is right (Whoever owns the stick owns the buffalo). Once upon a time, two countries were ruling the some other countries of the world.

Then there were some countries that decided not to support those two ruling countries.   These were the “non-aligned” countries of the Third World. As long as there were two bigwigs in the world, the Soviet Union and the United States, the activities of these neutral countries were also prominent in international politics.

However, when the Soviet Union was broken, these non-aligned countries also practically fell under the American stick. Interestingly, India was also associated with it in the Soviet era, but on the other hand, it was also seen in non-aligned countries.

Similarly, Egypt was full of non-alignment, but its relations with the Soviet Union were such that the Soviet army fought Israel on its side in the Battle of Kippur. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Egypt sided with United States, but remained part of the non-aligned movement.

The relations of small countries are subject to mutual interests, but the root of the conflict is that the foreign policy of powerful countries is nothing more than a war for control of resources.         And this war is carried out in such a way that if an American oil exploration company discovers large reserves of oil in a weak country, it informs its country before the country concerned.

Thus, instead of the company, the US government itself makes decisions and tries to capture the whole resources. That’s why these companies invest heavily in the US election in the name of donations. In this case, if the government of the country concerned rejects its idea and shows national pride, then the matter turns into revolt and executions.

Meanwhile, there are several mineral exploration companies that belong to other countries as well. If these companies found a huge amount of natural resources, then CIA agents in those companies report it to United States. Thus, those companies are left stunned and the CIA begins planning to seize the country’s reserves.

In their strategy, the negotiators, the Foreign Office officials, come first. If they achieve the goal through dialogue, fine. But if this does not happen, then it remains to be seen whether these resources can be obtained by bringing the puppet government to power through some conspiracy. If that is possible, then the CIA will carry out its mission on its own.

But if that is not possible, then the US military is mobilized. And it is the CIA’s job to justify that move. Deceptions such as human rights are hurled at the international media for the same purpose. So the real rule in the world is not of politicians and their agendas but of intelligence agencies. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense are subordinate to them.

Just look at the Afghan war of the last twenty years. When Afghan students announced to persuade Osama bin Laden to leave the country voluntarily, the United States immediately said, “Even if he leaves Afghanistan, we will still attack Afghanistan.” And when the attack began, the CIA was the first to land.

In this war of interests, the United States failed with the help of 48 countries. But the question is, did he give up pursuing these interests? No. It will now pursue “friendly relations” for these interests, and will not only establish relations with the Afghan winners, but will also present them with a certificate of “good character”.

If the United States failed to do that, then China and Russia will take full advantage of Afghanistan’s empty space. And all the resources will be distributed among the countries of the region. Such Pakistani liberal, who believe that Afghan students need the United States and Europe to survey their economy, are unaware that the so-called “Afghan economy” was a fake thing like the Afghan government.

Economy comes from three things: Industry, Agriculture and Services Sector. Can anyone tell where these three things were found in Afghanistan? There was no industry and they were not building anything. There was no agriculture and they were not growing anything on a large scale, so there were no companies and no services sector, so where did the Afghan economy come from?

It was a fake balloon that the US had inflated to deceive the world. The ten billion dollars that were being reported as the Afghan Foreign Reserve were lying in the US Central Reserve. It was American money, so it was in an American bank. It had just named it Afghan foreign exchange to deceive the world about “Afghan economic development”.

In these circumstances, the visit of DG ISI General Faiz Hameed to Kabul is so important that it too will be seen as a “conspiracy” in the West. And they will strongly realize that we are out of the picture, so the chances of being deprived are increasing rapidly. They must be thinking that Pakistan must be strengthening its roots together with China and Russia.

It is worth mentioning here that the ‘Students’ were, are, and will never be the supporters of Pakistan. Under no circumstances will they pledge their sovereignty to any country in the world. There is only mutual interest between Pakistan and them. And the roots of this partnership are deep.

So deep that no other power in the world can uproot them, even the students themselves and Pakistan. For example, the presence of tribes on both sides of the border. Due to which thousands of people come and go on both sides every day.

Pashtuns make up 42% of the total population in Afghanistan, while Pakistan is a country with more Pashtun population. There are 15 million Pashtuns in Afghanistan and 40 million in Pakistan. Could there be a deeper and stronger relationship? It was the folly of the United States not to understand this.

If the United States had thought that Pakistan would risk its existence, it was the culmination of his complacency and it has paid a heavy price. This is not the 90’s. The United States did not learn any lessons from Vietnam, but Pakistan has learned all the lessons from the mistakes of the 1990s. This time it has formed a joint consortium with all countries that have interests in Afghanistan.

So this time, like in the 90’s, there is no conflict between these countries, but common relations of common interest. That is why Afghanistan also looks united and peaceful. And feeling the pressure of this consortium, the United States and European countries will soon return to diplomacy.

Interestingly, the return of the United States is still relatively easy, but the situation is worse for India, which was carrying out terrorism in Pakistan with the help of seven consulates. India will have to struggle for its diplomatic return to Afghanistan. It has been humiliated the most in this whole game and has been out of the scene the most.
