LAKKI MARWAT: At least six policemen, including an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) lost their lives in an attack by terrorists on their mobile during routine patrolling.
Officials said the incident took place near Chowki Abbasa Khattak, in the jurisdiction of Dadyawala police station. The attack came in less then a month when four policemen were shot dead in the Wanda Mir Alami area of Lakki Marwat.

MM News has learnt that the policemen who lost lives in the attack include ASI Ilim Deen, FC Mehmood Khan, DFC Ahmed Noor, FRP Ali Usman, Driver Dil Jan and LHC Zubair.
Soon after the incident, Police force rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area to kick off a search operation.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister, Chief Minister KP and others have strongly condemned the cowardly act of terrorism in which 6 policemen lost their lives.
In a statement, the Prime Minister paid tributes to the martyred six police personnel. He said the whole nation salutes the sons of the soil who sacrificed their lives for the motherland.
Shehbaz Sharif said the terrorists are the enemies of Pakistan and every possible step will be taken to safeguard the country.
He asked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to immediately announce Shuhada package for the martyred police personnel.
