UMERKOT: At least 6 people died when a boat carrying members of a family capsized in a lake situated in the Umerkot district.
According to reports gathered by MM News, some people along with their family members came to visit the Kalankar Lake located near Dhoronaro village of Umerkot.
Their boat overturned when they were going around in the boat and having fun. The bodies of three innocent children have been removed from the lake while the search for the rest is continued.
The sources said that the boat was overturned due to overloading.
Among the deceased, two children were identified as Parvez Samiju and Akram Nahri.
