Zara Noor Abbas, who herself comes from a family of big stars in media, has announced staying away from showbiz industry.
The actress, who is currently starring in Standup Girl, was a guest on Yasir Hussain’s The Pick & Drop Show. During the show, she talked about her work and the fakeness of award shows in Pakistan and said that she wants to tell people that all awards are fake.
According to the actress, people who are going to win are already aware of their win as are those who are going to lose. For Zara, she does not understand the purpose of these shows to which Yasir added that they are like variety shows, and people performing get paid for their nice work.
Talking about her career, Zara Noor Abbas said, “I will be temporarily away from the screen for at least a year, during which time I will give time to my family.”
The actress’ aunt is Bushra Ansari and her mother is Asma Abbas. Moreover, her husband is actor Asad Siddiqui. The actress entered the entertainment industry after her marriage.
