A day after a cargo aircraft disappeared over the Arabian Sea, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) on Wednesday said the Pakistan Navy (PN) and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) had located and identified the wreckage of the K2 Airways Boeing 737 following a 12-hour search and rescue operation in deep waters.

According to the PAA, naval ships and aircraft remain deployed in the area to continue rescue and recovery efforts.

Search teams are working to locate the five crew members who were on board and collect evidence to determine the cause of the crash.
