World Water Day is being observed across the globe.
First observed in 1993 by United Nations, the objective of World Water Day is to raise awareness and inspire action to tackle the water and sanitation crisis.
This year’s theme is about accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis. According to UN-Water, 2.3 billion people, or one in four of the world’s population, live in water-stressed countries.
