Woman shot dead by police in KP
BANNU: A woman has been shot dead by police in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The police raided a house in the Mandan area of Bannu during which the police allegedly opened fire. After the incident, the family members protested against the police by placing the body on the road and closed Bannu Dera Road to traffic.
The family members alleged that the police raided the house in search of the accused in a minor case. “The protest will continue until we are given justice,” the family said.

In another incident, two women were killed in the Rahim Yar Khan area of Punjab. The killers fled the scene. Police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to Sheikh Zayed Hospital for postmortem while raids are being carried out to find the culprits.
Four people were killed in a firing incident in the Gambat area of Kohat yesterday.
