A woman has accused singer Abdullah Qureshi of texting her 18-year-old sister only a week before the singer publically apologised about his problematic behaviour in the past.
On weekend, Abdullah Qureshi shared an apologetic statement on his Instagram story and expressed that he is sorry to everyone he has hurt or harmed in any way, and requested the removal of anything related to ‘this’ as it has affected his career and is likely to affect his daughter.
He went on to say that he would not blame his drunken state because it was him at the end of the day. “But yes, I did have a drinking problem and I do have fetishes. But everyone has fetishes,” he asserted.
He went on to clarify that his apology is not about that [his fetishes], but about messaging randoms. He further stated that he did have that problem too but he stopped when he had his daughter. According to Qureshi, he had discussed all of this with his wife a year ago and the matter was settled between them.
Now, a woman has come forward and claimed that the singer who recently apoligiesd for his past behaviour has just messaged her 18-year-old sister only a week ago. Attaching the screenchot of his conversation with her sister she said she is truly shocked at his performative apology.
“This adult man DM-ed my barely 18-year-old sister the randomest, creepiest things uprompted literally a week ago. These are the screenshots she sent me.” It is to be noted that Abdullah Qureshi is a singer, songwriter, and music composer.
Born in Islamabad, he gained recognition from his covers on YouTube. Qureshi also featured in the popular music TV program Nescafé Basement Season 4 and performed an original song Awaz Do.
