KARACHI: Â PTIÂ UC Chairman Asad Aman has issued a video statement rejecting PTI’s decision to vote for Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman for the election of the mayor.

According to the details, another video statement of Asad Aman has been released in which Aman said that he has decided to stick to the June 12 announcement. “I will not vote for JUI’s Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman for Mayor Karachi,” he said.
Earlier in another video statement, Asad Aman said that the Sindh government was putting pressure on him not to accept the decision of Tehreek-e-Insaf to vote for Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman. “I fear that I might be kidnapped,” he added.

During the crackdown against PTI by the federal government and the Punjab government, several PTI leaders have already announced their resignation from politics. “More than 30 UC chairmen of Tehreek-e-Insaf are against Jamaat-e-Islami,” he claimed.
Recently, a decision was taken against Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Hafiz Naeemur Rehman in the elected UC chairman meeting.Â
The election of the mayor of Karachi is being held today, for which Murtaza Wahab has been nominated by the People’s Party and Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman by the Jamaat-e-Islami. People’s Party’s Wahab said that if the mayor of another party comes, he will continue to complain about not having powers.
