There is a reason why people call the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) the Harvard of Pakistan because it sets an unusual bar for Pakistanis or short, it gives parallel universe vibes to citizens.

Well, the ‘Harvard of Pakistan’ is making headlines yet again, and this time for celebrating Diwali at the campus.

Many students were spotted celebrating  Diwali which somehow started a meme fest on Twitter. Let’s have a look at how social media users are reacting to the news:

Muslims in lums attending diwali gives me such “white people wanting to know more about other culture” vibes

Mfs go to Lums and start acting like they’re in Vegas

— Shehryar (@shehrryaar) October 31, 2022

I have never seen white people celebrating Eid and wearing shalwar qameez, but laiba from LUMS and hamza from Karachi are desperate to dress up as clowns. As if they aren’t clowns enough.

going to the lums diwali in western clothing like the unaware main character coming from Australia

No diss @ LUMS but really I’ve seen people go to elaborate lengths to put together a Halloween outfit but would never wear something new, sulk the whole day and ruin everyone else’s Eid as well. https://t.co/7QoRdxUkBG

Eids don’t fascinate them, they won’t dress up, will sleep all the day, will call it boring & dull but Farzana & Ashiq husain from lums love celebrating Halloween, playing holli & adopting every western shit. This nation losing their own identity & culture while chasing others.
