The makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa have finalized Triptii Dimri as the leading actress opposite Kartik Aaryan in the much-anticipated third installment.
According to a source closely associated with the project, the makers have chosen Triptii to be the romantic interest opposite Kartik Aaryan. Kartik shared a picture on his Instagram account, confirming the same.
Who is Triptii Dimri?
For those who are still unaware of the underrated talent, Dimri made her acting debut in the comedy film Poster Boys (2017) and had her first lead role in the romantic drama Laila Majnu (2018).
She gained critical recognition for her performances in Anvita Dutt’s period films Bulbbul (2020) and Qala (2022), with the former earning her a Filmfare OTT Award. Her role in the latest movie Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor gave her historic success.
Kartik Aaryan’s much-anticipated third installment of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa is set to commence filming in the first quarter of 2024, with additional cast members expected to be confirmed soon.
Interestingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will mark Kartik Aaryan’s second venture into franchise movies after Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Both Kartik and Triptii are slated to experience workshops and script reading sessions before commencing the shoot for the film.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, marking the first collaboration between Kartik and Triptii, is set to take flight in the first quarter of 2024.
On the work front, Kartik will be seen in Aashiqui 3, scheduled for a 2024 release. Whereas, Dimri will next star in Anand Tiwari’s romantic comedy Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, alongside Vicky Kaushal.
