A patient died in an ambulance caught in a traffic jam in Gujrat. The incident occurred on Jhelum Bridge in Sarai Alamgir, where several routes have been blocked by the Punjab government ahead of a PTI protest.
A video circulating on social media shows bystanders carrying the deceased’s body on a stretcher, as vehicles remain gridlocked due to the road closures.
The Punjab government imposed Section 144 across the province from November 23 to November 25, banning all protests, gatherings, rallies, sit-ins, and similar activities.

In addition, all motorways and 15 critical routes within Islamabad have also been blocked, including Kati Pahari, Nicholson Monument, Paswal, Fatehjang Road, Margalla Avenue, Faizabad, and Barakahu.
These blockages have caused immense difficulties for thousands of citizens, who are unable to reach their destinations, even in emergencies.
Meanwhile, PTI has decided to proceed with its call for a “do-or-die” march towards Islamabad on November 24, following the failure of negotiations and the government’s refusal to release Imran Khan on Friday.
