If you search for videos on any topic on YouTube, it is easy to find and if you search for discussions on controversial topics, the name Adil Raja will definitely appear on the top search.
From various videos and news, it seems that Adil Raja, who is notorious for making videos based on accusations against Pakistan Army, is himself a retired major, however, according to reports on TV channels, he has been arrested and the concern is why.
Who is Adil Raja?
Adil Raja, who claims to be the favorite social media activist of millions of social media users on YouTube, has leveled various allegations against Pakistan Army, former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and other officers including ISI officials.
In the videos, Adil Raja can often be seen with the flag of Pakistan on his chest and full of enthusiasm to fight for the motherland, from which it is felt that Adil Raja criticizes the military officers, but is not an enemy of the country.
Accusations
Whenever a YouTuber starts making and uploading videos on his channel and his channel is related to news, he knows very well that most of the controversial videos on YouTube get views, and such videos are mostly watched.
Therefore, some YouTubers have adopted the approach of accusing other YouTubers, celebrities, and military organizations in order to get more views of their videos. Imran Riaz Khan and Adil Raja can be included in the category of such YouTubers. However, this will also be an allegation, which needs to be proved.
Allegations against Adil Raja
In a series of allegations, Adil Raja’s name first came into the limelight in January this year when a senior officer of the Pakistan Army filed a defamation case against him in the British High Court for making a controversial statement. The former army officer was accused of horse-trading on former army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
In the text of the case filed in the British court, it was stated that on 14th June 2022, i.e. exactly one year ago, Adil Raja launched a campaign on social media against the serving army officer, which damaged the reputation of the person who filed the case.
Accusations on actresses
In a vlog posted on social media, Adil Raja made serious allegations against top models and actresses in Pakistan claiming that the country’s powerful establishment, including top Army officers, use popular Pakistani actresses and models as ‘honey-traps’. The London-based retired Major also claimed that Pakistan’s powerful elite uses these actresses to ”trap politicians and people in key positions.”
What is the truth?
On one side, Adil Raja’s supporters are social media users who say that if Adil Raja has been arrested, then wrong has been done and he should be released immediately. Allegations of defamation against the army are also false. They accuse some military officers, not the entire Pakistan Army.
On the other hand, there are those who are strongly against Adil Raja. There is a need to seriously examine Adil Raja’s YouTube videos and if the allegations are found to be true or false, action should be taken accordingly.
