Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will reportedly undergo surgery soon after she returns from 2024 Cannes.
A source close to Hindustan Times revealed that Aishwarya didn’t want to break her Cannes tradition. “Aishwarya broke her wrist over the weekend and thus had to get a cast on.
However, she was adamant that she wanted to keep her Cannes tradition going. Thus, even after the injury, she completed her professional commitments and made it to Cannes.”
Additionally, according to the source, the actor only travelled to France after consulting with medical professionals and may shortly need hand surgery.
The source further added, “Her surgery is scheduled for later next week after she returns from Cannes.”
The Bollywood diva became the talk of the town when she appeared at the 77th Film Festival.
The actor chose Falguni Shane Peacock’s ensemble. She attended the screenings of Megalopolis and Kinds of Kindness at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.
The Dhoom 2 actress represented the cosmetics company L’Oreal Paris globally at the event.
