With Miss Universe 2025 set to take place in Thailand, many viewers are wondering when and where they can watch the global event—especially given the significant time difference. Here is a comprehensive guide to this year’s pageant.
For viewers in the United States, the 2025 Miss Universe finale will stream on Telemundo and Peacock on November 20. Despite the competition taking place in Thailand the following morning, American audiences won’t need to wake up early. The coronation show begins at 8 a.m. Thailand time on November 21, which translates to 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. PT on November 20 in the U.S. Telemundo will air pre-show coverage one hour before the main event.
This year’s competition will be held at Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi. Hosting duties will be shared by Carlos Adyan, Danilo Carrera, Jessica Carrillo, and Jacqueline Bracamonte.
Fans who want to watch the Preliminary Competition and the National Costume Show can tune in on Wednesday, November 19. Both events will be livestreamed via the Telemundo App, the @telemundoentretenimiento YouTube channel, and the Telemundo Al Día FAST Channels. These shows begin at 1 p.m. local time in Thailand, corresponding to 1 a.m. ET.
Miss Universe 2025 has already faced significant controversy. During a pre-pageant event streamed on Miss Universe Thailand’s Facebook page, Miss Mexico Fátima Bosch was called “dumb” by pageant executive Nawat Itsaragrisil, prompting Bosch, the reigning Miss Universe, and several other contestants to walk out in protest.
Following the backlash, the Miss Universe Organization removed Itsaragrisil and issued a statement reaffirming its commitment to working productively with local partners and ensuring a successful 74th edition of the international pageant.
This year’s competition will feature 120 contestants from around the world, including the first-ever Miss Universe Latina, all vying to succeed reigning titleholder Victoria Kjær Theilvig.
