Alan Ritchson, renowned for his role in Jack Reacher, stars in the recently released Netflix sci-fi action movie War Machine, in which he leads an elite squad of Army Rangers into chaos.
Directed and co-written by Patrick Hughes, the film is about a group of elite U.S. Army Ranger recruits during the final 24 hours of their grueling selection process.
What begins as a standard training exercise in a remote area quickly turns into a desperate struggle for survival when an astonishing extraterrestrial threat emerges. Faced with an AI-driven killing machine from another world, Ritchson’s leadership and combat skills become the recruits’ only hope.

Is it worth watching?
On the face of it, War Machine is a stereotypical military movie, however, Alan Ritchson’s strong lead performance and the film’s inventive alien threat make it a solid watch for viewers who enjoy adrenaline-fueled adventure.
