FAISALABAD: A video of four women being stripped naked after they were caught stealing from shopkeepers has gone viral.
Two women were caught stealing in the area of Faisalabad’s Millat Town police station. The shopkeepers caught the women and tortured them and locked them in the shop before stripping them naked.
While taking immediate notice of the violence against women in the viral video, Police Officer Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan rushed to the spot along with SSP Investigation Faraz Ahmed and arrested three suspects. On the direction of CPO Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, SHO Millat Town Rizwan Shaukat arrested five accused while raids are on to nab the other accused.
CPO Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan CPO said that women were stripped naked after being tortured by the accused and immediate action was taken against them according to law. The accused will be severely punished.
