A coordinated police operation in India’s Rajasthan state has sparked widespread attention after law enforcement officials simultaneously searched 12 hotels and guest houses in Nagaur district as part of a security and law enforcement drive.
According to police, the operation was aimed at monitoring suspicious activities, verifying records, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. During the searches, officers examined the identity documents of guests staying at the establishments and reviewed guest registers and other mandatory verification records maintained by hotel management.
Police sources said that approximately 15 individuals were taken into custody for questioning based on preliminary findings and suspected activities.
Authorities stated that investigations are ongoing, and any further legal action will be determined after the inquiry is completed.
Meanwhile, several videos and claims related to the operation have been circulating on social media.

Some videos allege that a young man attempted to flee a hotel without clothes during the raid, while other reports claim police action was taken against alleged illegal activities at one of the hotels.
However, police have not verified the authenticity of these videos or the claims circulating online. Authorities have also not issued any official statement regarding these specific allegations.
Police officials said the primary objective of the operation was to strengthen security in the area, ensure hotels and guest houses comply with legal regulations, and maintain public order. Investigators are currently reviewing all available evidence, and officials said any further action will be decided only after the investigation is concluded.
