KARACHI: The value of the dollar has increased shortly after the start of business in the interbank market.
According to the details, the price of the dollar has increased by Rs.1.12 in the interbank market, after which the dollar is trading at Rs.216.
It should be noted that last month there was a sharp increase in the value of the dollar, which continued until the beginning of this month, the dollar went to the highest level of Rs.242 in the interbank market, after which the process of its return began and in the last two days. The value of the dollar has increased by Rs.2.10.
On the other hand, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has indicated action against its employees if allegations of corruption and dereliction of duty are proved.
In the notification issued by the Federal Board of Revenue, it has been stated that the investigation of the allegations of corruption, corruption, and dereliction of duty will be completed within 2 months.
The FBR notification further states that it will be the responsibility of the head of the field office to provide the records of the relevant cases to the investigation team. The concerned field offices were also made bound to supply records.
