At least 62 U.S. military veterans and family members were arrested by Capitol Police on Monday after occupying the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, D.C.
Over a hundred U.S. military veterans occupied the Capitol Building to protest not just the war in Iran, but the “genocide” in Gaza, the ethnic cleansing in Lebanon, and the possible land invasion of Cuba.
The protest was organized by several groups, including About Face, who called for an end to the war in Iran and voiced opposition to ongoing military action.
