The body of a foreign female tourist has been recovered from a hotel room in Skardu.
According to local media reports citing rescue sources, the tourist was found dead inside the hotel room, after which she was immediately shifted to a hospital.
However, doctors confirmed her death upon arrival.
Rescue officials said the woman is believed to be from Malaysia. Initial information suggests she was taken to the hospital for medical assistance, but she had already passed away.
Rescue sources added that, preliminarily, the cause of death is being considered a heart attack.
Following the incident, relevant authorities have initiated legal proceedings and further investigations, while additional details are being collected to determine the exact cause of death.
