KARACHI: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan has hosted a dinner in honour of senior officials of the Sindh government, politicians, and other important personalities in which Pakistan-UAE relations were discussed.
According to the details, UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi hosted a dinner in Karachi, which was attended by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah.
Minister of Labor Sindh Saeed Ghani, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani, diplomats, and other personalities from Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and other countries also participated in the dinner of the Emirati ambassador.
Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi organized a dinner at the residence of Emirates Consul General Karachi Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti which was attended by top provincial officials as well as businessmen.
During the dinner, issues of bilateral interest including Pakistan-Arab Emirates relations were discussed. Discussions were also held on the promotion of bilateral trade, new trade projects, and financial assistance to Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, the Emirati ambassador said, “Whenever I come to Karachi, I always feel happy. The love and liveliness of the people of Karachi do not allow the feeling of distance from their homeland.”
