ABU DHABI: Two matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6 will be played today at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
The first match will be played between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi at 6 pm and if Peshawar Zalmi manages to beat Islamabad United today, they will take their place in the playoffs.
In case of defeat to Peshawar Zalmi, there is no threat to the position of Islamabad United. The two teams played met in 13 matches so far. Today’s second and most important match of PSL will be played between defending champions Karachi Kings and rivals Lahore Qalandars at 11 pm.
The Karachi Kings will have to win their last two matches to maintain their hopes of reaching the final four. In the match played yesterday, Multan Sultans defeated Quetta Gladiators by 110 runs while Islamabad United became the first team to qualify for the playoffs of PSL Season 6.
