BAGH: Two youths have been arrested for allegedly throwing a shoe at Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur.
According to details, the shoe thrown at the federal minister hit the person standing next to him and Ali Amin Gandapur was fortunately safe during the incident that occurred in the Bagh area of Azad Kashmir. However, the PTI workers caught the youth throwing the shoe and brutally tortured him.
Police arrested the youth involved in the incident, but Ali Amin Gandapur told police that someone paid them to do the work. He said that the opponents do such things by paying money. Police arrested two youths on charges of throwing shoes, to which Ali Amin Gandapur said that he had forgiven the culprits and asked the police not to investigate them.
On the other hand, the Election Commission of Azad Kashmir has taken strict notice of the allegation of distribution of money against Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and ordered to register a case. The ECP ordered the confiscated money to be presented as evidence and the commission said that during the election campaign, Ali Amin Gandapur gave money that falls under the category of bribery.
It may be recalled that earlier during a press conference of PML-N leaders outside Parliament House Islamabad, a shoe was thrown at former Home Minister and senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal. During March this year, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Maryam Aurangzeb, Ahsan Iqbal, and Musaddiq Malik, among others, gathered outside Parliament House for a press conference where PTI workers shook hands with PML-N leaders.
