Twitterati rally support for six-year-old bullied boy

KARACHI: Netizens have came together to support a six-year-old boy, Musa after he refused to wear spectacles because bullies at his school made fun of him.

On Friday, Musa’s father, Zeeshan shared a picture of his little boy on Twitter and asked netizens how his son looks in glasses. In a heartwarming turn of events, Twitter, including celebrities cheered on little Musa and told him that he looks super cute in glasses.

Zeeshan said Musa took the words of his school bullies to heart and was “very upset” when he was targeted for his glasses. He was hesitant to wear his glasses so his father decided to “ask the world” how his son looks in them.

This is my son Musa, from last few days he is very upset because some of his school mates said; you look worst in glasses, he’s hesitant to wear glasses anymore.

In a heartwarming display of love and encouragement Musa, netizens came together to let Musa
know that not only should he not give a hoot about what anyone else says but also that the glasses are a great look on him. #Musa quickly began trending on the website, with a host of celebrities and public figures chiming in to raise the little boy’s spirits.

Actor Ali Gul Pir tweeted a picture of himself wearing glasses saying, “You look great, Musa! People with glasses are cool and extra handsome. Just look at me…killin’ it.”

The trend even made its way across the border, with Bollywood filmmaker Pooja Bhatt responding to Musa’s tweet saying, “He won’t know who I am but tell him I said boys with glasses are the coolest! As are girls!”
