ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will co-chair a Pakistan-Turkey Business and Investment Forum with Prime Minister Imran Khan today.
The 6th Session of the Pakistan-Turkey High-Level Cooperation Forum will be held today where the first session will be on investment opportunities in the country. The second session will highlight Turkish companies’ investment experience in Pakistan.
Turkish President arrived in Islamabad yesterday on a two-day visit. He addressed a joint session of Parliament House in Islamabad where he said that he was thankful for the opportunity to address the session.
The Turkish president also praised the people for welcoming him in the country, “I have never felt like a stranger in Pakistan,” he added.
While highlighting the bond between the two countries, he said, “Relations between Pakistan and Turkey are splendid.”
According to the Turkish president, Pakistan has always stood with Turkey. “When there were earthquakes in Turkey, people in Pakistan supported us, he said.
The Turkish president is accompanied by around 60 Turkish businessmen and investors.
