ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that US President Donald Trump has acknowledged Pakistan’s positive role against terrorism.
In a series of tweets, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Donald Trump talking about friendship with Pakistan in India was a big development for the country.
Awan said that the statement of Trump spoke volumes about Pakistan’s efforts for peace. The image of our country at the international level was improving under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, she added.
She further said that recognition of Pakistan’s efforts for regional and world peace by the international community was a manifestation of our successful foreign policy.
Awan also advised Indian premier Narendra Modi to understand the power and message of amity instead of stoking the fire of hatred in the region.
