Traders announce two-day strike against massive taxes

KARACHI: Traders announced to hold two-day shutter down strike on 29th and 30th of October against massive tax imposition by the federal government.
Sources said that the decision was taken in the meeting of the Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajiran. While addressing the meeting, president Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajiran, Malik Meher Elahi said that the shutter down strikes will be held against the provincial government.
Also Read: Traders decide to march to Parliament on Oct. 7 
The trader community has also decided to hold rallies and protest camps outside the provincial assembly, added sources.
The president also said that traders are tired of the policies of both federal and provincial government. The protest will reveal the intensity of the issue.
He said that the community will put forward its charter of demands as well.
