KARACHI: Three people, including two women, were killed in a road accident in Baldia Town area of the metropolis on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, a fast-moving passenger coach hit a motorcycle in Mawach Goth of Baldia town area. As a result, two women and a man died on the spot. The deceased were identified as a 55-year-old woman, Zainab, Ulfat aged 28, and Hafeez aged 35.
The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. on Tuesday, three people had lost their lives in different road mishaps in Karachi.
Rescue sources said a dumper had collided with a motorcycle at the Super Highway road near Jamali Bridge, killing the rider at the spot.
In another incident, two people lost their lives during an accident in the Landhi area of the city. The incident occurred in Landhi block 2, killing two youngsters.
The identities of the deceased remained unknown and the rescue sources had only identified them by their ages. One of the victims was an 18-year-old boy while the other was 22-year-old.
