KARACHI: A three-day Urs celebrations of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi started on Thursday in Sindh’s capital.
The celebrations will be held at Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s mausoleum in Clifton from 22nd August till 24th August. Hundreds of people from all across the country are expected to attend it.
On this occasion, special arrangements have been made to hold the urs celebrations in an appropriate manner. The start of the urs will be marked with the ablution of the mausoleum and laying of wreaths by pilgrims.
Police and Rangers have been deployed around the mausoleum. Visitors will be provided parking facilities in the areas including Dolmen mall Clifton, Beach View park near Chase up and Bagh Ibne Qasim.
The traffic police have announced alternative traffic routes and parking arrangements for visitors. Traffic will be regulated as per routine from Park Tower through Bahria underpass to the 26th street signal.
People are advised to cooperate with the traffic police and administration by parking their vehicles only at the designated places so as to avoid any hinderances in the smooth flow of traffic movement.
