“Wake Up Dead Man”, the latest Knives Out’s murder mystery, brings back Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc. However, the third film features an entirely new cast, including Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, and Cailee Spaeny.
Rian Johnson, the person behind both Knives Out and its sequel Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, is beck at the helm once more. He has also written the script.
As per Netflix’s official logline, Benoit Blanc teams with “a sober young priest to investigate a perfectly impossible crime at a small-town church with a dark history.”

Clearly, the religious setting inspired Johnson, who told Tudum, “Themes of guilt, mystery, morality, and fallible humanity all feel right at home in a church, with a man of God at the center of the mix.”
A voiceover in the Netflix-released clip, which announced the film’s official title, teases the movie will be Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet.”
When will “Wake Up Dead Man” be released?
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is set to debut on Netflix on Dec 12, after hitting select theaters on Nov. 26.
